ScreenFire vs Yodeck

Two ways to run your screens: a plan with creation credits, or a licence for each display.

Checked October 21, 2026

Choose for your everyday work.

Start with your screens, content and team. ScreenFire combines AI creation with publishing credits. Yodeck offers a broad player range, apps and scheduling tools. Neither is the right choice for every business.

The practical differences.

US-dollar software prices checked October 21, 2026. Billing terms and included features differ. ScreenFire credits are not equivalent to a per-screen licence. Compare your workload, plan limits, taxes, hardware, installation and any integration costs before buying.

Consider ScreenFire when

Create, review, publish.

  • You want to create and publish screen content across your business, without a per-screen subscription fee.
  • You want AI layouts, with paid options for new images and motion graphics, and can plan for credit usage.
  • You use Toast and want live menu boards on Pro or Business. Clover subscription integration and Claude and ChatGPT connections are also available.
Consider Yodeck when

Your needs go further.

  • You need a wider choice of player platforms.
  • Your team relies on app feeds, scheduled playlists or interactive content.
  • You need workspace and enterprise permission options that ScreenFire does not yet claim.

A few things to know.

Does Yodeck require its own player?

No. Yodeck lists its own player and other supported platforms. Check the exact device, app and content requirements; do not assume every feature works on every player.

Can ScreenFire connect to my point of sale?

Pro and Business support the Toast-connected menu-board workflow. Clover subscription integration is also available as a separate connection. This does not mean every POS or business-data source is supported.

Can I bring my existing content?

Keep your original images and videos. Check their file formats, fonts, licensing and player compatibility, then test one screen before moving the rest. We do not promise an automatic import of another vendor's layouts, apps or schedules.
